This photographic series combines documentations of actions carried out in Dawit L. Petros' studio and in the landscape. The studio still lifes entailed inserting materials such as air, water and coloring into a vitrine. The portraits involved delicate wrappings of various sitters’ faces with masking tape. The final component was a sequence of gestures in the landscape ranging from building a snowman and returning to witness its erasure 5 days later, exposing the leaves buried under the snow, and making subtle directional changes to the dried remnants of shrubbery.
